NEW! HAVREBARNAS Calendar Bags

The HAVREBARNAS Adventcalendar bag is knitted from the bottom up on circular needles in stockinette stitch, then the work is divided and knit double to shape the drawstring casing. Next, an i-cord edge is knit along the top of the bag, which can be neatly finished if the bag is not to be hung, or with a loop for hanging. Silk ribbons or cords are threaded through the casing. Finally, the bags are felted and numbers and figures associated with Christmas can be embroidered. Step-by-step instructions and pictures of 7 Christmas figures are included.

If you haven’t tried Judy's magic cast on yet, give it a go. It is a simple and effective method that makes the cast on invisible and eliminates seaming. Alternatively, you can knit on circular needles and sew the bottom before felting.
