LOUISE coming home set

Louise's coming home set consists of pants and a wrap-around cardigan.

Louise pants are knitted from the bottom up and in the round with circular needles and DPNs. You will knit a structural pattern at the bottom of the legs, while the rest of the pants are knitted in st st. In the waist you can decide if you want to knit an i-cord or use an elastic band.

Louise’s wrap-around cardigan is knitted from the bottom up. The yoke is knitted back and forth on a circular needle, while the arms are knitted in the round. On the outside front piece and on the back piece you will knit in a structural pattern, while on the inside front piece and arms are knitted in st st. The cardigan is fastened with small buttons on the inside, while on the outside the sweater is fastened by tying. Wrap-around cardigans are perfect as a part of a coming home outfit as you don’t need to pull the garment over the head of the baby. 

Sizes : Premature (0-3 mos) 3-6 mos (6-12 mos) 1-2 yrs
Width pants/jacket : 17 (19) 21 (24) 26 cm // 20 (22.5) 25 (27.5) 30 cm
Length pants/jacket : 28 (32) 37 (42) 46 cm // 20 (23) 26 (29) 32 cm
Recommended needles : Circular and DPN's size 2.5 and 3 mm (UK 11 and 12 / US 2 and 3)
Gauge : 28 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in both textured and stockinette stitch
Yarn quantity pants/jacket : 50 (50) 50 (100) 100 g // 100 (100) 100 (150) 150 g
Recommended yarn : Sandnes Garn Sunday or other super fine yarn with the same gauge
In addition you will need : 3 small buttons. An elastic band for the waist, unless you decide to knit an i-cord.
