Hedvig summersuit junior is worked top down. First, the back piece and front piece are worked separately before being joined and worked in the round. A gusset is shaped for the crotch before each leg is worked separately. A lace edging is worked around the arm openings and at the bottom of the legs, while a picot edge is worked along the neckline and button bands. The suit has a slightly oversized fit and is tied at the waist with a belt.
