Louise's Coming Home Set

Louise's Coming Home Set consists of pants and a wrap-around cardigan. 

Louise pants are knitted from the bottom up and in the round with circular needles and DPNs. You willknit a structural pattern at the bottom of the legs, while the rest of the pants are knitted in st st. In thewaist you can decide if you want to knit an i-cord or use an elastic band.

Louise’s wrap-around cardigan is knitted from the bottom up. The yoke is knitted back and forth on acircular needle, while the arms are knitted in the round. On the outside front piece and on the backpiece you will knit in a structural pattern, while on the inside front piece and arms are knitted in st st.The cardigan is fastened with small buttons on the inside, while on the outside the sweater is fastenedby tying. Wrap-around cardigans are perfect as a part of a coming home outfit as you don’t need to pullthe garment over the head of the baby.

Sizes: Premature (0-3 mos) 3-6 mos (6-12 mos) 1-2 yrs
Width pants/cardigan: 17 (19) 21 (24) 26 cm // 20 (22,5) 25 (27,5) 30 cm
Length pants/cardigan: 28 (32) 37 (42) 46 cm // 20 (23) 26 (29) 32 cm
Needle size: Circular needle 2,5 og 3 mm (US 2 and 3, UK 11 and 12). DPNs 2,5 og 3 mm (US 2 and 3, UK 11 and 12).
Gauge: 28 m x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in both stockinette stitch and structural pattern
Yarn quantity: 50 (50) 50 (100) 100 g // 100 (100) 100 (150) 150 g
Recommended yarn: Sandnes Garn Sunday or other super fine yarn quality (1)
In addition you will need: An elastic band for the waist, unless you decide to knit an i-cord. 3 small buttons.
